Your data, and how we handle it

1. What we collect
To match you into a Circle, we collect your profile details (age range, area, gender identity, sexuality, pronouns), your questionnaire answers (interests, personality, lifestyle preferences), and basic account info from Google sign-in. Some of this — sexual orientation and gender identity — is sensitive personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and we treat it accordingly.
2. Why we collect it
Solely to place you into a compatible Circle and run the meetup — matching, scheduling, and safety review. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.
3. How your data is used in matching
Your answers feed a matching process that decides which Circle you're placed in. We don't show other members your raw answers — the app only ever shows a compatibility summary, never the underlying questionnaire data of anyone else in your group.
4. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time. Deletion removes your sensitive personal data from active systems, not just a soft flag on your account.
5. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, plus a limited window after account deletion for safety/fraud review (e.g. repeated no-show or reported accounts), after which it is purged.
